Sermon outline (10/02/2016)

“You can bless or stress: It’s your choice! We are wired to worship!” Philippians 4:6-9

We are wired to worship. We can bless or stress! Meditate or medicate! Praise or prescriptions! Worship of worry! Devotions or depression. Meditation or worry-a-tion.

Bless out or stress out! Shout it out, or let it burn you out!

Where attention goes, energy flows, and results show in your life.

Red Bull lifts you up and praise gives you wings and lifts you higher.

I. Refuse to worry about anything. (Strangled or torn apart with anxiety)

  1. 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

  2. Take your burdens to the Lord and Leave them there.

II. Pray and Praise about everything.

  1. Don’t worry “But”, in all situations praise and pray. “Praise-Prayer”

  2. James 4:2 you have not because you ask not.

  3. Serenity Prayer. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference.”

  4. Meditation is listening to God in prayer. Meditate instead of medicate!

III. Thank God in and for all things.

I Thess. 5:18 “In all things give thanks.” (This is the will of God for you because we are wired for it.

IV. Think on “These things” (Lovely and of a good report)

V. Be content with all things in God’s will. (Have a satisfied mind.)

VI. Action steps: Follow above instructions! Bless instead of Stress! We are wired to worship! Meditation or worry-a-tion! Worry or worship! Devotion or Depression!

Sermon outline (10/09/2016)

You bring on what you think on! Want it or not!

Philippians 4:2-9

I.  You bring on what you think on, want it or not!

Wat’s on your mind most of the time?

Your life is the result of your dominant thoughts!

Think about what, you think about!

   Thoughts become things!

Where attention, goes energy flows, and results show!

, dwell on, and meditate on, “These things.

You are just one thought away from your destiny.

Success! Message received.
